Adreach FAQs
Q: Where do you have ads?
A: We have a national footprint.
Q: How many ads do I have to take?
A: As many as your budget allows for. Street Pole Ads are sold in sets of 3 consecutive poles in a row. If fewer than 3 are available, you may choose sets of 2 or a single pole.
Q: How big are the street pole ads?
A: Depending on the area and road, frames range from A0, 1.8m, Icon frames which are 1700mm x 1205mm to Supalites which are 3460mm x 2320mm.
Q: How long do we have to take the ads for?
A: A minimum of a 1-month contract, but a 3-month contract is strongly suggested for campaign success.
Q: Can I keep the same location sites at the end of my contract and take another contract?
A: Yes, you can. You have the option to renew and secure the same locations up until 45 days before the current running contract's expiration date.
Q: What does it cost?
A: Pricing varies depending on the size of the frame as well as the area and road. Starting from R1965 ex VAT per month for a run of 3 poles up to R15k per month. There are 2 separate costs- monthly rental for the ad space and the production costs, which is the once o charges for the printing and flighting of the ads.
Q: Do I pay the whole amount once the ads are up?
A: First month's rental, printing and flighting costs are due upfront before we can go to print and flight the ads.
Q: How long does it take to get my ads on the street poles?
A: We require 5-7 working days from the time your final artwork has been received. Note that flighting is subject to weather conditions.
Q: Do I have to design my own ad?
A: We have in house graphic designers who can design your ads for you at no additional charge. You would just need to provide us with any images or logos you would like to use in high resolution.
Q: How big must the logo and/or images be when you say high resolution?
A: For Logos vectors are best. That is a mechanical line drawing of logo (PDF IS BEST), alternatively it must be at least 300dpi at about A4 to A3 size. CMYK- this goes the same for images. A lot of times clients take a small image and make it large and then convert it to a 300dpi image. All this is, is a bad image at a higher res.
Q: What information should be on my street pole ads?
A: When it comes to street pole ads LESS IS MORE. Use BOLD text, bright colours, strong images that are close up, no more than 8 words per pole ad, have 1 call to action and use all the space on each pole ad.
Q: Why does my ads colours look brighter on the computer screen then what has been printed?
A: Images online are always RBG, that is how screens display them, in printing we use CMYK in the conversion from RBG to CMYK some colour is lost, this can be remedied a lot of the time by changing colour values. When an image is viewed on a screen it is back illuminated, this makes it more vibrant as opposed to front illumination when the image is on a Street Pole Ad.
Q: Can I keep my ads afterwards if I don't renew the contract?
A: No, as the Ad is a giant self-adhesive sticker, they are heated in order to be stripped from the backing boards which we reuse.
Q: Can I store my ads to be used at a later date:
A: No, the Ad is a giant self-adhesive sticker, they are heated in order to remove them from the backing, they are put onto a roller and stripped off in a roll the adheres to itself, stretched and damaged. It is cut from the roller and disposed of.
Q: What information do I need to provide for a quote:

- CAMPAIGN START DATE:

- BUSINESS TYPE (PRODUCT OR SERVICE) TO BE ADVERTISED:
